JS Pilates restorative

Restorative Pilates

My gentle, crunch-free, restorative Pilates classes are designed especially for mums. With a special focus on the pelvic floor, the lower back and abdominals (“the core”) and a lot of breathing and stretching, these classes will realign, restore and strengthen all the parts of your body that have been neglected for too long.

Is this class right for me?

This class is absolutely for you if you are a mum and need to/want to:

… alleviate the pain and discomfort you have been feeling since you started having kids (no matter how long ago that was).
… start exercising but are scared to hurt yourself because it has been a long time since you last exercised/you have never exercised.
… have a flat tummy again.
… close a diastasis recti (abdominal separation).
… lose the baby weight.
… stop having lower back pain/shoulder girdle pain/ neck pain.
… work on your pelvic floor because it feels weak.
… work on your pelvic floor to keep it healthy after rehab sessions with a physio.

Prenatal Pilates

Mums-to-be need a gentle, specialised exercise programme during pregnancy. Prenatal Pilates offers the perfect combination of stretching and toning exercises, gentle exercises for the pelvic floor, opening and releasing exercises for the hips and pelvis, to prepare you for childbirth and caring for a newborn.

Is this class right for me?

This class is right for you if you are pregnant and want to:

…alleviate pain and discomfort caused by pregnancy.
…learn how to move and exercise – what is safe, what feels good- during pregnancy.
…learn how to use movement and breath as natural pain-relief during pregnancy, labour and birth.
…strengthen, tone, stretch, relax all the parts of your body that need it during pregnancy and beyond – your back, your hips, your pelvic floor…

JS Pilates Postnatal

Postnatal Pilates with Baby

Postnatal Pilates is the perfect exercise programme for tired new mums. You will learn to relax and breathe. You will tone your arms and legs, strengthen your core, including the deep abdominal and spinal musculature so important to pick up and lift baby, and give your pelvic floor a complete make-over! And of course, you can bring your baby.

Is this class right for me?

This class is right for you if you are more than 6 weeks postpartum (or 8 weeks if you had a C-section) and have had clearance to start exercising from your doctor or midwife, and need to…

… alleviate pain and discomfort caused by the pregnancy and birth and caring for your baby.
… slowly but surely strengthen your belly muscles, even if you have diastasis recti (abdominal separation).
… close a small abdominal separation.
… work on your pelvic floor.
… get fit and strong again, safely and in your own time.
… find an alternative/follow-up to Rückbildung.

JS Pilates Diastasis

Heal your Diastasis Recti

If your abdominals feel and look weird after birth, it is possible that you may have Diastasis Recti (DR) a separation of the abdominals along the midline of the body.

DR often comes with other symptoms, such as pelvic floor issues or lower back pain. It is important to address the DR to begin to improve the other symptoms.

My DR programme is specifically designed to give you the knowledge and tools to recover from abdominal separation and prevent reoccurence. This programme is effective even many years after the occurrence of the DR.

JS Pilates Private

Private Pilates Classes

Private classes are ideal if you have a specific condition that needs special attention.

Having an injury or a medical condition that restricts your movement doesn’t mean that you should stop moving altogether. Quite the contrary! Movement will help you heal and will help you feel better mentally.

In a private Pilates class, all exercises will be designed for YOUR body.

Live classes run with 2 participants only.

Private Pilates:
Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm, evenings and weekends depending on availability

Restorative Pilates:
In English: Mondays and Fridays 9:30-10:30, Wednesdays 12:30-13:30

In French: Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30-10:30

Postnatal Pilates with Baby:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:45-11:45

Prenatal Pilates:

How to book a class

Send an email to hello@juliettespilates.de indicating your Name and When you want to book a your first class or trial session. Alternatively, you can also get in touch via my request form here on the website.

Cancellation policy

Booking must be made and canceled at least 12 hours before the start of the class. Classes canceled later than 12 h before the class will be charged.
