Diastasis Recti Programme

Abdominal separation (Diastasis Recti, or DR) causes pain, discomfort, and comes with a series of other symptoms that can make life miserable. It doesn’t have to be that way. DR is caused by a loss of integrity of the fascia, the tissue supporting the abdominals and holding them together. By relaxing and realigning the body, and releasing the fascia, it is possible to create an environment where restoring the abdominal musculature and recovering from DR becomes possible.

My DR programme is based on Carolyne Anthony’s Relax-Release-Realign-Restore ™ programme for Diastasis Recovery and Sarah Duvall’s Core Exercise Solutions Method. It is certified by The Center for Women’s Fitness.

What will I learn during this program?

Together we will:

  • work on your breathing patterns
  • stretch and relax and strengthen your pelvic floor
  • release your deep fascial tissue using myofascial release techniques
  • realign and restore your posture
  • strengthen and restore your core muscles
  • learn tools to exercise safely for ever
How much does it cost?

The programme price is not fixed and will depend on your needs and means. A reduced rate is possible if you are unemployed, a student or in a very difficult financial situation.

The sessions take place as often as possible, live or on Zoom, as private classes or in groups of two participants. So for most people, this means once or twice per week. In addition to the sessions with me, training at home by yourself every day, at least for 5-10 minutes, is key. For this, you will be required to buy small, inexpensive props.
